FEEL – Animal Welfare, a pharmaceutical company that produces nutraceutical formulas, has announced its latest launch, FEELSénior, a complementary food for dogs and cats that provides energy, supports neurosensory function and has a beneficial effect on the animal’s physical, cognitive and sensory activity.

The food is recommended to be administered to pets on a daily basis, “triggering vitality and neuroprotection, guaranteeing an energy supply that boosts the performance of those compatible with pathologies involving the nervous system,” the company said in a statement. Moreover, it also promotes the well-being and longevity of senior animals.

“Developed with strategically selected ingredients, such as Ginkgo Biloba, Propolis, Cannabis Sativa L, Curcumin Complex and Fish Oil (rich in omega-3, EPA and DHA), it combines scientific and laboratory rigor, making it possible to meet demanding criteria in terms of palatability, being that, this way, FEELSénior is very well accepted by dogs and cats.”

FEEL – Animal Welfare has presented its latest product, FEELImmuno, designed to strengthen pets’ immune systems. It is a highly palatable oral paste that aims to boost the performance of the immune system.

FEELImmuno comes in a 30 ml dosing syringe and is composed of propolis, bovine colostrum, cannabis sativa l., lentinula edodes and b-complex vitamins.

The brand states that “FEELImmuno is a complementary food for dogs and cats that provides support and optimization to the immune system, triggering a more efficient and competent response from the animal to pathogens in its daily life and in situations where the immune system’s response is compromised by immunosuppression due to concomitant diseases”.

Nowadays, osteoarthritis (OA) is a degenerative joint disease with a high prevalence in pets. Predisposing factors such as age, breed, overweight, joint trauma/injuries, individual congenital abnormalities in dogs and cats, along with more advanced diagnostic methods used in veterinary clinics and owners’ increased awareness of this disease, justify the search for an innovative product that can effectively address the clinical signs associated with OA. Consequently, the absence of curative drug therapy combined with the high degree of debilitation that can affect the life quality of dogs and cats makes this disease a growing challenge for the pharmaceutical industry.
